Station imaging
We're delighted to present our station imaging showcase
for 2010.
The jingles you'll hear were produced by an American-based
company called Litehouse Studios who specialise in jingles
and imaging for adult contemporary radio stations like
HWD Hospital Radio.
We make our budget go further by mixing our own voice-overs
with the jingles for specific programmes and features.
You'll hear similar jingles on radio stations across
the UK and the USA, which are designed to fit perfectly
with the music we play.

HBA award entries
The HBA (Hospital Broadcasting Association) Awards recogises
excellence in hospital radio. This year we were delighted when
Anita Hepple walked away with the gold award for Best Newcomer.
Anita has been a great edition to the team at HWD Hospital Radio and certainly deserved the recognition for the hard work she puts into her programme each week.
You Pick the Mix presenter Mike Binns was commended in the
Male Presenter award and best speech package, with Vicky Pinder
highly commended in the category of Female Presenter.
We were also commended for our production work for our live
Dewsbury Rams rugby coverage in the Station Promo category.
